Job summary

Deeplocal is seeking a 3D Design Intern for the winter/spring 2027 term to contribute to spatial, industrial, and experience design. This role involves hands-on learning and mentorship as you translate concepts into tangible 3D models and environments.

Based in Pittsburgh, the internship is in-person at our studio. You will collaborate with designers, strategists, and technologists to develop visual concepts, mood boards, and finished materials for client projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a college degree or equivalent in design, architecture, or related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D design and visualization.
• In-person internship in Pittsburgh during winter/spring term.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity 3D models and renderings.
• Develop spatial experiences and object design from sketches to models.
• Support pitch and RFP visuals with concept boards and sketches.
• Collaborate on concept visualization and mood boards.
• Prototype and design 2D/3D animations as needed.
