Deeplocal seeks an early-career Experience Designer to join our creative team. You should have a strong foundation in 3D, spatial, industrial, environmental, or experiential design and a portfolio showing physical interaction beyond screens.

Although remote employees will be considered, preference will be given to candidates in Pittsburgh or those willing to relocate. You care deeply about design quality and can work across disciplines with rapid prototyping and storytelling.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a creative environment such as an agency, experiential studio, or design practice.
• Strong foundation in 3D, spatial, industrial, environmental, or experiential design.
• Portfolio demonstrates physical interaction, environments, installations, or spatial storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Creative Concepting with cross-disciplinary teams to develop inventive, meaningful audience experiences.
• Contribute to ideas in physical space: installations, environments, objects, exhibits, activations, and brand experiences.
• Translate concepts into physical form via sketching, 3D modeling, rendering, and prototyping.
• Diagram user experiences with storyboards, flowcharts, and spatial diagrams to keep experiences clear and on-brand.
• Communicate ideas visually and verbally using sketches, renderings, decks, or prototypes.
• Collaborate across disciplines to balance aesthetics with engineering, fabrication, and brand constraints.
• Contribute from concept through pre-production and production to bring ideas to fruition.
• Stay curious about materials, tech, and interaction trends to push the work beyond expectations.
