Clearbrook currently has an opportunity for an experienced Staff Accountant to join the finance team at our New York location. We can also fill this role from Albany.

The role specializes in US statutory financial statements and GAAP reporting, working in a collaborative team to deliver high-quality statements and insightful analyses for internal and external reporting. The position is 100% in-office, requiring on-site work during standard business hours.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years of accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience.
• Strong Excel skills including pivots and lookups.

Responsabilidades

• Support month-end and quarter-end close with journal entries and documentation.
• Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances.
• Assist with preparation of U.S. GAAP and statutory financial reports and related schedules.
• Maintain accounting workpapers and documentation supporting reporting.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve differences.
• Support audits by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist with accounting research and implementation of guidance from management.
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.
