Zusammenfassung

Renalcare-Associates-1 is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist for a full-time, in-person role. You will ensure accurate billing and timely reimbursement for healthcare services and maintain HIPAA compliance while providing excellent customer service to patients and insurance providers.

The position is Monday–Friday with work conducted on-site. The ideal candidate has prior medical billing experience and proficiency with billing software and EPIC or similar EMR systems.

Qualifikationen

• Prior experience in medical billing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
• Experience with EPIC or another electronic EMR system preferred

Aufgaben

• Preparing and submitting accurate claims to insurance companies, government payers and patients
• Reviewing patient accounts and verifying insurance coverages
• Resolving claim denials, rejections and payment discrepancies
• Posting payments and adjustments to patient accounts
• Maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations including HIPAA
• Communication with patients regarding billing inquiries and providing excellent customer service
• Collaboration with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
