Job summary

A-MAX Insurance is seeking an in-office Insurance Sales Agent in Texas. The role focuses on helping customers with policy needs, handling renewals, and building a client base through networking and marketing from the office.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and a sales/customer service mindset. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus; licensing requirements are encouraged but not mandatory. Training and licensing assistance are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic Computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Complete continuing education courses (Paid for by A-MAX) as required to maintain active license status with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with new policies, edits, payments, renewals, and questions.
• Inspect vehicles to assess insurability risk.
• Identify and develop new client prospects by networking.
• Develop marketing strategies with office manager.
• Handle admin tasks, renewals, and underwriting contacts.
• Support daily office operations.
