Job summary

Starting salary ranges $19-$25 per hour depending on experience. This full-time, in-office role requires at least 2 years of insurance verification experience and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Insurance verification experience: minimum 2 years.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and healthcare administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient benefits by phone or insurance platform.
• Documents benefits into NPR system or equivalent.
• Provides insurance data support to clinics and Central Billing Office.
• Communicates updates or changes from insurance companies to staff.
• Ensures accuracy of insurance information prior to patient admission.
