Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP (CLA) is hiring an Audit & Assurance Senior to join CLA in-office in St. Louis or Kansas City. This role offers exposure to a range of construction clients and opportunities to advance in a national firm.

You will lead day-to-day audit activities, manage budgets, plan fieldwork, prepare financial statements, and review internal controls while communicating clearly with clients and staff. Travel is a component of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• 2 years of public accounting audit experience required, with emphasis in financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations.

Responsibilities

• Executing and managing the day-to-day activities of audit engagements with construction clients from start to finish, including budget, planning, fieldwork, directing staff and completing financial statements with disclosures.
• Reviewing client accounting and operating procedures.
• Developing and assessing the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Preparing all necessary financial statements and related disclosures and reportable condition correspondence letters.
• Communicating technical matters effectively with staff, management, and clients.
