Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Above average knowledge in accounting; GPA preferred 3.0 or higher.
• Working towards eligibility to sit for CPA exam after graduation.
• Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
• Ability to think independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information for required documents.
• Use data analysis to discover useful information and patterns to support recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes to increase efficiency.
• Audit-specific tasks: perform audit, review and compliance testing per standards.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and management reports; assist engagement leaders.
