Job summary

AMBA is seeking an Accounting Intern to support the accounting team with day-to-day tasks, including recording and reconciling transactions, AP/AR support, and month-end close activities. You'll enter data into accounting systems, prepare financial reports, and ensure accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates are currently juniors or seniors pursuing Accounting or Finance degrees, with a 3.0+ GPA, strong analytical and written communication skills, and reliable transportation for in-office work

Qualifications

• Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year with a 3.00 GPA.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area of study.
• Be a self-starter with the ability to learn new concepts quickly.
• Exhibits analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• These positions are required to be in-office, so candidates must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Enter and maintain financial transactions in accounting systems.
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and organize financial reports and supporting documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
