The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA preferred, accompanied by 2-4 years of accounting experience. The position offers a competitive salary along with benefits such as medical insurance and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of public accounting experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual closing of the general ledger.
• Research and explain significant fluctuations in the financial statements.
• Oversee analysis of balance sheet accounts and make recommendations.
• Coordinate the annual close process and audit.
• Evaluate internal control design and effectiveness.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Strong analytical skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Technical accounting experience and understanding of US GAAP

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to quickly build relationships

Act as a change agent

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

CPA preferred
