Job summary

Frontline Source Group in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client’s team for hands-on accounting and financial support in an in-office, direct-hire role. This position emphasizes working across various accounting functions and day-to-day detail.

You will handle reconciliations, balance sheets, income statements, and monthly close activities, using QuickBooks and advanced Excel to prepare reporting and maintain accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Hands-on accounting experience in a generalist or staff-level role.
• Experience with balance sheets, income statements, and account reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Strong to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and linked worksheets.
• CPA is not required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting activities and internal financial processes.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Work with balance sheets and income statements and assist with financial reporting.
• Maintain internal accounting schedules and financial tracking spreadsheets.
• Use QuickBooks to record, review, and maintain accounting information.
• Create and maintain detailed Excel workbooks used for internal accounting and financial reporting.
• Build and work within Excel files containing multiple linked worksheets and formulas.
• Pull information between worksheets and organize financial data for reconciliation and reporting purposes.
• Review financial information for accuracy and identify inconsistencies or discrepancies.
• Provide accounting support to leadership and assist with various accounting needs as they arise.
• Work with outside accounting and CPA resources as needed while maintaining accurate internal financial information.
