Job summary

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a dependable In-Line Set-Up Operator / Maintenance Technician for a Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. shift. The role involves preparing, setting up, operating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to meet production schedules and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Starting pay is $23.00/hour with a pay rate upon hire of $24.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand machine operations and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, work orders, drawings, and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Ability to identify equipment issues and communicate problems effectively.
• Follow safety procedures and operate equipment responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up in-line manufacturing equipment according to production schedules and work instructions.
• Locate, inspect, install, and remove tooling and fixtures as required.
• Complete machine changeovers and return tooling to its designated storage location after production.
• Load raw materials into equipment and obtain Quality Control approval before beginning full production.
• Create and maintain machine processing recipes to support accurate and consistent future setups.
• Operate assigned machinery to meet production goals and customer deadlines.
• Assist with machine startup, shutdown, and building opening and closing procedures.
• Provide break relief for production operators as needed.
