Job summary

Requirements: JD and bar admission; minimum four years of legal experience, insurance industry experience preferred; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• JD required and bar admission in good standing in employed state(s).
• Minimum four (4) years of legal experience; insurance industry experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to interface with business groups at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Apply legal principles and defend claims with professional judgment.
• Evaluate appropriate legal techniques and criteria for solving issues.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and memoranda; supervise with minimal supervision.
• Conduct legal research and provide timely opinions and advice.
• Assess risk areas and provide objective assessments.
• Contribute to major projects and special initiatives as needed.
