Larson Maddox, in partnership with a leading transportation network, is expanding its legal function and growing the tort division in Brooklyn. We seek defense attorneys at multiple seniority levels to join a household name handling complex personal injury claims through all phases of litigation.

The role requires a strong foundation in tort, 4+ years defending personal injury matters, and the ability to manage 75+ active cases while collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in tort litigation and knowledge of local, state and federal laws.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience handling personal injury claims through all phases of litigation on the defense side.
• Proven ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload (75+ active matters).

Responsibilities

• Manage complex personal injury cases through all phases of litigation, including depositions, discovery, motions, court appearances, settlement discussions and trial work.
• Develop and execute litigation plans aligned with ethical obligations and current legal standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external entities, including operational teams and judicial bodies.
• Support broader departmental objectives as directed by senior legal leadership.
• Operate both autonomously and as a key member of a collaborative litigation team.
