Job summary

Accrete seeks a versatile Counsel to work at the intersection of law, technology, and AI. This role focuses on commercial transactions, governance, privacy, IP, and risk management, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel. You will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, often working independently.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (New York preferred).
• 5+ years of legal practice at a law firm, in-house, or both.
• Experience negotiating commercial technology transactions with enterprise customers and SMEs.
• Experience in U.S. federal government contracting and regulations.
• Familiarity with emerging AI regulation.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating SaaS, licensing, data-use, partnership, and services agreements.
• Handle non-standard contracts from deal desk and advise on risk allocation.
• Develop and refine contract templates, playbooks, and workflows.
• Reviewing and negotiating U.S. federal government contracts and NDAs.
• Support government-contract obligations and related compliance processes.
• Support corporate governance and subsidiary management.
• Assist with equity/debt financings and outside counsel coordination.
• Advise on employment matters and HR-related agreements.
