Proper Cloth is seeking a Full Time In-House Tailor for our Chicago Showroom. You will perform alterations on jackets, trousers, denim, and outerwear to achieve optimal fits and service clients with expert fittings.

Qualificações

• Experience in menswear alterations, including made-to-measure tailoring.
• Ability to manage a tailor shop or studio and lead alterations workflow.
• Proficient hand sewing and garment construction with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with fabrics, color, and fit considerations for menswear.

Responsabilidades

• Perform alterations on made-to-measure suiting, jackets, trousers, denim, and outerwear.
• Assist clients on showroom floor with fittings, pinning, and advice on fixes.
• Apply guidance from the Manager of In-House Tailoring to Chicago showrooms.
• Keep showroom team updated on alteration standards and process changes.
• Manage the tailor shop's workflow, turnaround times, and organization.
• Maintain equipment and keep workspace clean and efficient.
