Job summary

Regency Omak Rehabilitation & Nursing in Omak, WA seeks a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive disorders. You will collaborate with physicians, patients, and caregivers to create and implement individualized treatment plans and document progress in compliance with guidelines.

The role requires licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and graduation from an accredited program.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of speech pathology and language disorders.
Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the State Board.

Responsibilities

Plans and administers medically prescribed speech therapy treatment for patients with speech, language, and swallowing problems.
Evaluates speech and language skills as related to educational, medical, social, and psychological factors.
Reviews orders and patient records to determine indicated speech therapy; accepts physician orders.
Performs initial patient evaluation and documents OASIS assessments as required.
Plans and prepares written treatment plans with the physician, patient, and caregiver(s).
Directs or conducts rehabilitative treatment plans to restore communicative efficiency.
Performs other duties as requested.
