Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house team. This full-time role focuses on evaluating, treating, and educating residents to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function across facilities.

You’ll work at Fayette Healthcare Center and Blue Point Healthcare Center, with opportunities to treat at multiple locations and participate in interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen patient/resident charts and develop a treatment plan.
• Plan and direct rehabilitative programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive issues; administer and interpret speech tests.
• Instruct residents, families, and caregivers on practicing skills and safe swallowing techniques.
