Job summary

Ski Butlers is seeking an In-house Ski Technician / Ski Valet Attendant for Aspen Ski Resort. This seasonal position at the Aspen location involves welcoming guests, storing equipment, and coordinating with hotel staff to deliver a seamless guest experience. Weekend and holiday shifts are expected, with a base wage of $23/hour plus tips.

No prior experience is required, and you will be part of a team focused on hospitality, collaboration, and delivering outstanding service to Resort guests.

Responsibilities

• Uphold brand standards through exceptional customer service while meeting our Key Customer Requirements.
• Provide timely, accurate placement and retrieval of guest's skis and other stored equipment.
• Assist guests with fitting and adjusting Ski Butlers equipment.
• Assist guests with information regarding resort operations, meeting areas, on-site hotel amenities, transportation and local mountain town knowledge.
• Set up the next shift and prepare the team for success.
• Perform basic ski/snowboard tuning and general equipment maintenance.

About The Role

Valet technicians are the face of Ski Butlers at our on-site hotel service center locations. This role aims to provide a seamless experience for all hotel guests using the hotel's skier services. From arrival to departure, valet technicians' welcome guests to the resort, store their equipment for daily use, work with hotel team members, and create a genuine personal hospitality experience unlike any other.

Primary Responsibilities

• Uphold brand standards through exceptional customer service while meeting our Key Customer Requirements:
• KCR #1: On Time - arriving within 5 minutes of the agreed upon time
• KCR #2: Communication - setting clear expectations around the entire scope of service
• KCR #3: Equipment - choosing the right equipment for each guest given their skills and current conditions at the resort
• Provide timely, accurate placement and retrieval of guest's skis and other related stored equipment
• Support: assist guests with fitting and adjusting Ski Butlers equipment as needed
• Assist guests with relevant information regarding resort operations, meeting areas, on-site hotel amenities, transportation and local mountain town knowledge
• Setting up the next shift and future team members for success
• Enhance the overall skier experience

Secondary Responsibilities

• Basic ski/snowboard tuning, waxing and general equipment maintenance
• Making/Answering customer phone calls and face-to-face questions with a positive and inviting tone of voice
