Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a results-driven sales professional to present luxury travel opportunities and build rapport with prospective owners at our resort sales centers in California.

You will learn and apply our sales process, overcome objections, and close deals while engaging in ongoing training and performance goal setting in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of sales/marketing experience preferred, not required.
  • Must maintain production standards.
  • California real estate license required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face presentations in state-of-the-art sales centers at our resorts.
  • Find commonality with prospective and/or current owners.
  • Communicate benefits of traveling with Travel + Leisure Co. and use closing techniques to generate sales.
  • Attend ongoing, advanced sales and career training.
  • Maintain knowledge of sales information, industry trends, and set/review performance goals weekly/monthly/annually.

Demonstrate a positive attitude within a high-energy environment.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesConduct face-to-face presentations in our state-of-the-art sales centers located at one of our award-winning resorts. Find commonality with prospective and/or current owners. Communicate the benefits of traveling with Travel + Leisure Co. Generate sales through initializing transactions and utilizing proper closing techniques. Leads are prequalified and provided by the company. Attend ongoing, advanced sales and career training.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Effectively present and deliver sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80% time)Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on sales information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually. (20%)Travel RequirementsNo travel required outside of the home site’s areaMinimum Requirements and Qualifications1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.Must maintain production standards.Must have a California real estate licenseEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.Training requirementsInitial Paid Training, covering our sales process, product knowledge, and the psychology of the sale.Knowledge and skillsNeeds to be able to overcome objections and perform within a short, luxury sales cycle. Must be energetic, outgoing and tenacious.Technical SkillsGeneral smart device skills.Job experience1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.**The target annual compensation for this role is $80,000 comprised of $19.00 hourly, bonuses and commissions. Top performers may earn up to $250,000+ for exceeding minimum production requirements.
