Job summary

Interlochen Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will administer prescribed PT treatments to improve mobility and function under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, while documenting progress and communicating with the multi-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas PTA license, has SNF or long-term care exposure, and is proficient with Net Health documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify patients’ plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust approaches with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation is thorough and timely per regulations.
• Attend required Rehab Director‑designated meetings.
