Job summary

Brentwood Terrace is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team. You will administer prescribed PT, support mobility and quality of life, and work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in a SNF setting.

The role requires an active Texas PTA license, good standing with licensing boards, and familiarity with Net Health documentation. Flexible schedules and in-house rehab are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Texas PTA license in good standing.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled PT services under PT supervision and physician orders.
• Relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist when responding to service requests.
• Modify patients' plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record patients' motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust approaches with the interdisciplinary team.
