Job summary

Carnegie Post Acute Care in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist for an in-house, PRN role. You will join a dedicated therapy team to assess and guide residents through personalized exercise programs.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, applying soft-tissue techniques, and educating residents on safe exercises while maintaining confidentiality and complying with all regulations.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited PT program.
• Current NJ State PT License.
• Experience in long-term-care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as part of the Therapy Team.
• Measure and document Residents' function, gait, strength, ROM, balance, and mobility.
• Prepare evaluations, progress reports, discharges, and all necessary documentation.
• Assist Residents in carrying out prescribed exercises and use of equipment.
• Apply soft-tissue mobilization and progression of exercises.
• Educate Residents on proper exercise to strengthen muscles and improve function.
• Maintain confidentiality of Residents' information.
• Comply with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Contribute to the therapy team’s goals.
