Job summary

DoorDash Labs is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to own in-house PCB layout, floorplanning, stackups, and layout governance. You’ll collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and SI/PI teams to deliver complete, manufacturable boards, reporting to the Director of Electrical Engineering in the Hardware group.

The role offers hybrid or onsite work depending on project needs. You’ll translate design requirements into robust layouts, optimize for impedance control and signal integrity, and

Qualifications

• Strong PCB layout experience across digital and mixed-signal boards.
• Familiar with stackup technologies, their limitations and considerations.
• Controlled-impedance and high-speed routing know-how; PI/PDN fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own in-house PCB layout, floorplanning, stackups, and layout governance.
• Coordinate with mechanical, thermal, and SI/PI engineering to land complete boards.
• Ensure fit and form with mechanical systems and thermally sound layouts.
• Drive consistently high-quality board design and robustness.
