Job summary

DoorDash Labs is responsible for building the electronics that power autonomous delivery systems. You will own PCB floorplanning, stackups, and layout in collaboration with mechanical, thermal, and SI/PI teams, reporting to the Director of Electrical Engineering on the Hardware team.

Hybrid or onsite work options apply, with onsite as needed. We seek strong PCB layout experience across digital and mixed-signal boards, familiarity with stackup tech and costs, and proficiency in Altium or Cadence.

Qualifications

• Strong PCB layout experience across digital and mixed-signal boards.
• Familiar with stackup technologies and cost/lead-time impacts.
• Proficient in professional layout tools (Altium, Cadence) and related workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform floorplan analysis and create stackups, layout, and footprints.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineering for fit and form with other systems.
• Coordinate with thermal engineering to ensure a thermally sound layout.
• Coordinate with SI/PI engineering to ensure board design is complete and robust.
• Drive toward consistently high-quality layout.
