The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in engineering, is USPTO-licensed, and brings 3–5 years of patent practice experience in law firm or corporate settings. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, timely delivery, and limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
• Licensed to practice before the USPTO.
• 3–5 years of patent practitioner experience in law firm or corporate setting.
• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills.
• Willingness to travel limited.

Responsibilities

• Manage patent application preparation and prosecution for products.
• Advise engineering and business personnel on clearance and patentability.
• Lead invention mining and brainstorming with TTICPT teams.
• Conduct patent clearance and patentability searches.
• Manage portions of TTICPT’s patent portfolio.
• Monitor competitors' activities.
• Participate in IP Steering Committee meetings.
• Help optimize processes and procedures.
