Job summary

Evolve-Therapy-Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility to plan, direct, and oversee therapy services, ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with applicable standards.

You will conduct screenings, develop treatment plans, coordinate with the team, supervise COTA as needed, and handle documentation and billing in line with clinical excellence and reimbursement practices.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Occupational Therapy license in the practicing state.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine best intervention.
• Evaluate residents to inform treatment plans and set goals.
• Communicate findings and plans to residents, families, and team.
• Establish therapy schedules in cooperation with team.
• Conduct therapy per plan and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Perform other duties to effectively treat patients.
• Oversee COTA and ensure documentation and treatments meet standards.
