Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking an in-house attorney in an early career role (1–3 years’ experience) to support marketing initiatives across the organization. You will provide day‑to‑day legal support under senior guidance for field activations, local campaigns, sponsorships, and related commercial agreements.

Responsibilities include reviewing campaigns, advising on compliance, drafting and negotiating agreements, and helping manage risk in promotions and events.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required. JD strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of practice experience in-house or law firm.
• Paralegal experience a plus; drafting & talent development experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Advise and counsel on marketing campaigns, advertisements, promotional materials, digital content, influencer initiatives, and customer‑facing communications.
• Counsel business teams on compliance with advertising, marketing, sweepstakes, contest, consumer protection, endorsement, and promotional laws.
