Job summary

Dunkin' is seeking a reliable In-House Maintenance Technician to keep our facility, kitchen, and equipment running smoothly. You will handle general repairs, plumbing, and service of TurboChef ovens, freezers, refrigerators, and coffee machines.

We provide full training on our equipment, so prior kitchen maintenance experience is valuable but not required. This full-time, on-site role requires practical hands-on skills, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as maintenance technician or handyman
• General plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting skills
• Willingness to learn and training provided on TurboChef and refrigeration equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall)
• Diagnose and repair kitchen equipment incl. TurboChef ovens and beverage machines
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections of equipment
• Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns
• Maintain tools inventory and coordinate with vendors when needed
• Keep maintenance logs and ensure safety/building code compliance
• Assist with setup/breakdown for facility needs

Job description

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on In-House Maintenance Technician to join our team. You'll be the go-to person for keeping our facility, kitchen, and equipment running smoothly — from general repairs and plumbing to commercial kitchen equipment like TurboChef ovens, freezers/refrigeration units, and coffee machines.

No specific certification on our equipment is required —we provide full training on TurboChef ovens, refrigeration systems, and coffee/beverage equipment. What matters most is a strong general maintenance/handyman background and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs (plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, power washing etc.)
• Diagnose and repair kitchen equipment including TurboChef ovens, freezers, refrigerators, and coffee machines
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment and building systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns
• Maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and supplies
• Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors for specialized repairs when needed
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and repair records
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
• Assist with setup/breakdown for facility needs as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or similar role
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing repair (leaks, clogs, fixtures, etc.)
• Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment
• Experience with commercial kitchen or refrigeration equipment is a plus, but not required — training provided
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time/priorities
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift 50+lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods)
• Valid driver's license
