No specific certification is required — we provide full training on TurboChef ovens, refrigeration systems, and coffee equipment. A strong general maintenance/handyman background and a willingness to learn are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or similar role.
• Basic plumbing repair knowledge (leaks, clogs, fixtures).
• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Training provided for TurboChef ovens, refrigeration systems, and coffee equipment.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving and detail orientation.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs (plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, power washing).
• Diagnose and repair kitchen equipment including TurboChef ovens, freezers, refrigerators, and coffee machines.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment and building systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Coordinate with outside vendors/contractors for specialized repairs when needed.
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Assist with setup/breakdown for facility needs.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time/priorities
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift 50+lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods)
• Valid driver's license
