Job summary

Dine Brands Global, Inc. is seeking an experienced Litigation Counsel in Pasadena, CA. The role involves managing litigation for Applebee’s, IHOP, and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, with oversight of outside counsel and responsibility for pre-litigation matters.

You will advise on risk, coordinate case strategy, and contribute to regulatory compliance efforts within a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience in a top-tier law firm and/or corporation.
• Knowledge of all phases of litigation and trial process in state and federal court.
• Experience with mediation/arbitration and outside counsel management.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on management and handling of litigation matters for Dine Brands and its brands.
• Process and review new lawsuits, attorney demands, and regulatory complaints.
• Manage outside counsel for strategic and economic resolution; serve as counsel of record when needed.
• Advise on pre-litigation matters and risk mitigation; provide business-focused legal counsel.
