Job summary

ISPC, based in Odessa, Florida, seeks an experienced In-House Litigation Staff Attorney with a focus on collections and creditor's rights. The role involves handling Florida litigation from inception through resolution, including breach of contract and debt recovery matters, with substantial interaction with the General Counsel.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing.
1–3 years of litigation experience in Florida.
In-house experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Represent the company in pre-suit and litigation matters in Florida state and federal courts.
Handle pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, hearings, trials and appeals.
Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements; participate in ADR processes.
Oversee enforcement of judgments and post-judgment remedies in Florida.
Coordinate with General Counsel and outside counsel on litigation strategy.
