Our client, a respected law firm specializing in recoveries and creditors' rights, seeks an Attorney to join its growing team. The role focuses on litigation, courtroom advocacy, and resolving matters in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle matters from inception through resolution, file pleadings, negotiate settlements, attend hearings, and collaborate with staff and clients while maintaining accurate records. Travel to hearings in assigned territory is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Active law license in Texas.
• Ability to analyze cases and negotiate effective settlements.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation practices and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient resolution of disputed matters.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances throughout your assigned territory (travel expenses reimbursed).
• Partner with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward effectively and professionally.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across multiple matters.
