Position Overview

The Litigation Attorney will manage ongoing disputes with insurance carriers related to unpaid property claims arising from storm repair and restoration work. This role requires extensive first‑chair litigation experience, including responsibility for matters from inception through resolution.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously, the capacity to work collaboratively with outside counsel, and a consistent focus on achieving favorable outcomes for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Breach of Contract Claims: Manage breach of contract matters involving unpaid property and insurance claims.
  • Legal Drafting: Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents with accuracy and precision.
  • Court Representation: Appear in hearings, trials, mediations, and other legal proceedings as lead counsel.
  • Settlement Negotiations: Lead settlement discussions and negotiations to secure favorable resolutions.

Qualifications
