Job summary

The Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated, experienced Graphic Designer for a full-time, in-house role within the Communications and Marketing department. You will craft print and digital design that defines the Skirball’s visual brand and supports its marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design and 3+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop on Mac.
• Experience with print and digital design; Drupal knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create graphic design for a wide range of communications and marketing materials to promote exhibitions, programs, and institutional initiatives, including print ads, flyers, brochures, postcards, invitations, signage, and digital banners.
• Update templates for social media, emails, digital signage, slides, and wayfinding.
• Maintain consistency in visual brand identity and uphold the design style guide.
• Collaborate closely with Communications and Marketing teams across the institution.
• Update and create graphics for the website using Drupal, maintaining a high design standard.
• Deliver production-ready files to media partners and print vendors and manage press checks.
• Direct photography and videography shoots as needed.
• Pursue professional development and expand graphic design knowledge.
