Job summary

United Shore Financial Services LLC is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support the Legal and Vendor Relations teams. The role emphasizes reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and other business transactions in a 100% onsite Pontiac, MI office.

The position requires Michigan Bar admission (or pending) with 1–3 years of relevant experience and is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Prior in-house experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have law degree and bar admission or pending admission in Michigan with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating vendor and other contracts.
• Knowledge of contracting and procurement processes; ability to work with internal clients and outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate vendor and company contracts.
• Perform vendor risk management and due diligence.
• Identify expiring contracts, manage reporting, and draft amendments and termination letters.
• Draft correspondence with outside counsel, vendors and third-parties.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
