orsa credit union is seeking a corporate counsel to join our Legal team in Michigan. You will review, draft, negotiate, and manage contracts across the lifecycle, ensuring compliance with policies and risk standards while advising leadership on legal matters.

The role collaborates with Risk, Compliance and business lines, manages the legal ticketing system, and supports strategic initiatives. Requires a JD, 3+ years of experience, and Michigan bar admission.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of legal experience, including contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Michigan.
• Bachelor’s in business, finance, paralegal or legal studies preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts including vendor agreements and NDAs.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle from intake through renewal and termination.
• Provide legal analysis and guidance to leadership on regulatory and operational issues.
• Manage the legal ticketing system and coordinate with Risk and Compliance.

Formation

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Bachelor’s in business, finance, paralegal or legal studies, or a related field.
