In-House Counsel

iCare Health Network operates twelve skilled nursing facilities, the majority of which are located in the Greater Hartford area.

iCare is seeking In-House Counsel to assist the company’s Chief Legal Officer in supporting the various legal needs of the company’s managed nursing facilities. The position is full-time (40 hours) hybrid, based in Manchester, with travel throughout Connecticut and periodic travel outside of Connecticut.

Responsibilities / Areas of Practice:

• Corporate/governance
• Litigation (collections, employment, general liability)
• Employment law
• Contracts
• Probate
• Regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

• Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills (writing sample required)
• Admission to Connecticut bar (additional admission to Massachusetts bar preferred but not required)
• 5+ years of litigation experience at a law firm
