Job description

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business litigation, Labor & Employment litigation, medical litigation and/or personal injury litigation.
• You will support the office of the Chief Administrative, Compliance, and Legal Officer with all litigation, claims, corporate, insurance, transactional and governance processes, as well as law and motion and discovery practices.
• You should have strong writing and advocacy skills, as well as versed in client management and project management processes.
• The ideal candidate is also comfortable communicating regularly with internal team members, leadership, external counsel, vendors, and other affiliates.

Physical Requirements

• Vision within normal limits with or without corrective lenses.
• Hearing within normal limits with or without hearing aids; consideration may be given to individual with partial hearing loss provided she can demonstrate the ability to receive, interpret, and act on instructions given by normal speaking voice.

• Normal foot/leg motor skills; consideration may be given to an individual with a leg brace or prosthesis provided she can demonstrate the ability to move smoothly and rapidly within the operating room environment and carry out the duties of the position and those of circulating and scrub nurse.
• Occasionally, must be able to bend and stoop and to lift and carry loads up to 25 pounds.
• Consideration for accommodation will be given to individuals with a disability based on team member request and expressed need. Approval is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Salary range is $165k-$185k with a $5,000 bonus upon successful completion of 90 days, plus a 10% bonus based on experience.

Healthcare experience is required for this position.
