Job summary

Medpace, headquartered in Cincinnati, seeks an on-site corporate attorney to serve as in-house counsel for domestic and international subsidiaries. The role covers commercial transactions, compliance, governance, privacy, employment, and litigation support.

You will review and draft agreements, advise on corporate policies, monitor regulatory changes, and coordinate outside counsel, working closely with cross-functional teams across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Bar Admission: Licensed in Ohio or eligible to become licensed.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house.
• Knowledge in contracts, corporate law, compliance, governance, and general litigation.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts in business-friendly terms.
• Self-starter who collaborates cross-functionally.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial transactions, including domestic and foreign agreements, and SaaS/licenses.
• Assist in drafting and updating corporate compliance policies and SOPs; advise on governance matters.
• Monitor and advise on changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
• Identify and escalate legal risks with recommendations to management.
• Identify and manage outside counsel and coordinate outsourced work.
• Provide legal support across enterprise-wide or entity-wide functions.
