Job summary

ezCater, the leading food tech platform for workplaces in the US, seeks an Assistant Corporate Counsel (Commercial) to support vendor and inbound contracts and streamline contracting processes across the business. You will draft, negotiate and review a wide range of agreements while balancing legal risk with business objectives.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams, develop templates and playbooks, and deliver trainings on contract matters.

Qualifications

3-5 years legal experience in commercial contracts, with strong drafting skills.
Experience negotiating with third parties in varied scenarios.
Ability to communicate legal requirements to internal clients clearly.

Responsibilities

Drafting, negotiating, reviewing and interpreting a wide variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts and other agreements to support the business, ensuring both business and legal objectives are met
Building and improving contract templates, playbooks, talk tracks and legal processes to help the business scale
Developing, delivering and refreshing trainings on legal issues, contract best practices and key negotiating points
Providing practical legal analysis, strategy and guidance to internal clients and cross‑functional teams
Managing assigned legal projects to completion
Assisting in other legal matters, such as legal research, strategic transactions and legal escalations
