Job summary

Personic Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our Nurse Practitioners and clinical teams in delivering in-home wound care services in the Chicago area. This full-time, on-site role focuses on seamless patient visits, accurate clinical documentation, and efficient workflows.

You will assist during in-home visits, help with telehealth, wound photography, and maintain precise EHR records while coordinating with scheduling and leadership.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Experience in wound care or home health strongly valued.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during in-home patient visits, prepare supplies, and document care.
• Facilitate telehealth visits in the home as needed.
• Support wound photography, staging, dressing setup, and record keeping.
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
• Ensure all supplies and equipment are stocked, organized, and available for patient visits.
• Serve as a professional and compassionate point of contact for patients and families.
• Coordinate with scheduling, operations, and clinical leadership to support daily workflows.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.
