Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an in-home Associate Veterinarian to serve Portland, Salem, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham, Milwaukie, Newberg and surrounding areas in OR. The role prioritizes work‑life balance, flexible 2–5 day per week schedules, and meaningful patient care.

You will join a community of veterinarians with ongoing training, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 Support Center, delivering compassionate hospice and euthanasia services to pets and families.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care for pets and families.
• Deliver compassionate medical care and support while working independently in clients' homes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate with families and Lap of Love support teams.
