Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian in Portland, Salem, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham, Milwaukie, Newberg, OR and surrounding areas. You will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes, offering a balanced, purpose-driven veterinary path that honors your time and well-being.

The role supports professional fulfillment with ongoing training, mentorship, and a culture of kindness as part of a 400+ team of veterinarians and support staff.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home veterinary hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families.
• Support families through end-of-life decisions with compassion and professionalism.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love mentors and practice managers to deliver high-quality care.
