Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working with seniors or veterans.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable).
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one companionship and personal care to veterans, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, with dignity and respect.
• Engage in conversation, play games, watch movies, or participate in hobbies to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication management as needed.
• Develop a strong rapport with clients and their families to ensure total peace of mind.
• Collaborate with our team of caregivers to ensure a seamless transition of care.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and communicate effectively with the care coordination team.
