Job summary

RBR Alliance, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide individualized, in-home and community-based support to individuals with disabilities in Corydon, Indiana. The role includes developing life skills and supporting individuals in achieving personal goals while promoting independence.

This full-time and part-time position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience working with individuals with disabilities, and the ability to work independently. A sign-on bonus of $350 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess individual needs and assist in developing service plans.
• Provide training in daily living skills including personal care.
• Support individuals in accessing community resources.
• Assist with household tasks and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Escort individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
• Support individuals with correspondence, budgeting, and bill paying.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress.
• Develop materials and maintain supplies to support individual goals.
• Act as a resource to families and caregivers.
• Promote independence and personal growth.
• Maintain positive relationships with individuals and families.
