Job summary

Bayberry Inc. provides supported living services to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Personal Attendants assist clients in their own homes, guiding and supporting daily routines with a focus on safety and caregiver communication.

The role includes helping clients with medications, planning transportation, and participating in community activities while maintaining accurate documentation and following ISP/IPP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and comprehension of English required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Be able to handle crisis situations according to protocol.
• Dependable and arrives to work on time.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, support and instruction to clients in their own homes and in the community.
• Assist clients to take their medications.
• Assist client with daily routines (household chores, shopping, meal prep, personal care).
• Assist with transportation to appointments and meetings.
• Promote a safe, positive, supportive environment for clients.
