Job summary

Bayley provides companionship and homemaker services in clients' homes, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, shopping, and transportation to appointments. All duties follow an established care plan and are supervised by the program coordinator.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license (No restriction or revocation within the most recent two year period).
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and travel to and visit client's homes in varying weather and road conditions.
• Ability to ambulate throughout a client's home, navigating stairs and other physical barriers typical to private residences.
• Ability to interact with elderly and handicapped in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Professional in appearance and behavior.
• One year of direct client care experience with health/home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients.
