Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a caring in-home Caregiver to support seniors and adults in the Rogue Valley region. You’ll help with daily activities, provide companionship, and ensure safe, independent living in clients’ homes.

The role includes assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and medication reminders, with training and a collaborative team environment to grow in the field.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID.
• Compassion, reliability and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility and transportation as needed.
• Ensure safety and document daily care notes in the mobile app.
• Communicate effectively with office team and caregivers.

About the Role

As a Right at Home Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, in-home support that enables seniors and vulnerable adults to continue living safely and independently in the comfort of their homes.

• Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting with mobility and transportation.
• Safety supervision and peace of mind.
• Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app.
• Communicating effectively with our office team.

Skills & Experience

• Successfully pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID.
• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Previous caregiving experience, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not essential. We provide ongoing training and support to help you succeed.
