Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist to provide intermittent, in-home speech pathology services under physician orders in Florida. The role includes evaluating the patient, developing and monitoring a speech therapy plan, and coordinating with the care team to support the patient and family in the home setting.

Responsibilities include performing OASIS assessments, documenting progress within 48 hours, and attending discharge planning when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Licensed in the state where services are provided (Florida license preferred).
• ASHA membership preferred if not licensed.
• Criminal background check required.
• Current CPR certification required (online证 not accepted).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech pathology services in patients' homes on an intermittent basis.
• Evaluate patient functioning and recommend mechanisms to enhance hearing ability.
• Perform initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments including OASIS.
• Establish and adjust speech therapy plans in consultation with physician.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for speech therapy-related care.
• Communicate with physician and educate family in speech pathology techniques.
• Record evaluation data, treatments, and responses in timely manner.
• Supervise Home Health staff when speech therapy is the sole professional discipline.
• Demonstrate professional development and participate in discharge planning as needed.
